Dirt :: The Earth on Which We Stand

Four women find themselves stranded together on an island of their own device — 800 lbs. of dirt — until they find their individual means of departure in the earth itself. The first gives birth to her own island. The second creates an infinite path from a finite amount of earth. The third carries her path on her back. The fourth unearths a box of dirt of a different color and sprinkles a path before her.
